Comfortable transportation round trip from Oaxaca city (40 minutes each way). Pick up and drop off from your hotel or vacation rental (Centro, Jalatlaco, Xochimilico, Reforma, San Felipe)

Breakfast at the market of local delicacies like chotolate atole, tamales, memelas, and tepache in addition to quesadillas and fresh fruitf the Vida Nueva women’s cooperative learning how they process wool, use natural dyes, weave, and use Zapotec design
A chance to dye our own garments like T-shirts and napkins to take home
Lunch prepared by a cocinera tradicional accompanied by our selection of traditional mezcal
Time permitting visit to Tule tree on the way back to Oaxaca
Drinking water and light snacks
Donation to women's cooperative annual project

Any of our day trips listed with ¨spots open¨ are Open Outings are designed for a minimum of 2 and maximum 6 participants and are open for travelers from different groups to join. Our overnight outings are designed for a minimum of 5 and maximum of 8 paticipants and are also open for travelers from different groups to join. You will see both day trips and overnight Experiences marked with the number of spaces available on the date(s).
You can join an upcoming scheduled experience, click on the event to find out if there are spots available to join us on an adventure! You can sign up until 6:00pm the day before the scheduled outing (for day trips).
We cannot accommodate Experiences for 1 person. As a solo traveller you are welcome to join an already scheduled Open Outing or we can schedule a new outing and see if other travelers would like to sign up, please allow at least 5 days for us to promote these outings. Please write to us with any questions you may have!
You can begin to book a new experience when there is an open date by writing to us here. We can host up to 2 different experiences per day. We cannot book a new experience with less than 24 hours notice. For best availability consider booking with 5 days anticipation.
If you would like a Private Outing for your group only, let us know in your message to us. For groups of less than 4 people (Day trips) this will incur an additional cost of $50 USD/950 MXN per person.
Larger groups: We accomodate groups of 7-25 for most of our outings if they are travelling together. We can create unique experiences for groups for 26-100 people, write to us here for more information.
